Most products from
Coastblinds.com ship via
standard carriers such as UPS, FedEx or DHL. Very large and
very heavy orders may ship via Motorfreight.
Many of our products are shipped free
within the Continental United States. If you are outside the Continental
U.S., we will contact you with an estimate of your shipping charges.
Please be advised that the actual charges may vary from the estimate we
provide due to rate changes and availability of carriers depending on
your location. Generally, items less than 95" are shipped free within
the Continental United States. Shipments larger than 95" will have an
oversize package charge. (Usually about $50.00 per order regardless of
how many packages). Call for specifics.
Most products usually have a
production time of 7 days. SOme products like Woven Woods and plantation
shutters have a longer production time. Your order will then be shipped
via ground carrier (UPS, Fedex, DHL etc) or via motor freight for large
packages. Coast Blinds and Shade is not responsible for delivery times
as this is in the hands of the carrier. You should add 3-10 days onto
your ship date depending on what part of the US you are located in.
The production time as
stated here and in product information pages is only a guideline and
Coast Blinds cannot be held responsible for any delays in manufacturing
as manufacturers, though infrequently do have periods of time where
their backlog may cause production time to be slightly longer.
Under no circumstances will
Coast Blinds warrant production and/or shipping times. Remember, these
are not a stock product, they are custom manufactured just for you when
you place your order.
Shipping damage, what to do?
Coast Blinds and Shade
cannot be responsible for damage to a shipment caused by the carrier. In
the unlikely event you receive your shipment damaged, it is best to
refuse receipt of the shipment. If you need to file a damage claim, we
will work to assist you with this and will do our best to secure you a
repair or replacement. Contact our customer service department.
Shipping damage must be
reported to the carrier in a timely manner. This usually means within 48
hours of receipt. If you do not report in a timely manner, your damage
claim might not be honored by the carrier.
